Travel Information
The easiest and the most convenient way to reach the conference venue (Gdynia Maritime University) is by plane (Gdansk International Airport is located about 25 km from the conference venue) or by train (Gdynia Central Railway Station is located 2 km from the conference venue).

From the Airport
In case you want to go further to Gdynia Maritime University (Akademia Morska) you have to direct yourself to the trolley-bus stop at Morska Street or Warszawska Street, look for number 22,25,26,27,28 going to "Gdynia Cisowa" or "Gdynia Chylonia" direction and get out at the stop called "Akademia Morska". The tickets can be bought on the buses. One ticket costs 2,80 PLN (about 0,70 EUR). You may have to buy a set of four tickets and you can pay only in PLN.
By trainGdynia Central Railway Station (Dworzec PKP Gdynia Glowna), located 2 km from the conference venue, serves domestic direct connections from/to main cities in Poland: Warsaw (capital of Poland), Wroclaw, Poznan, Krakow, Szczecin and others. If you choose a train to reach Gdynia and the Tricity please consult the PKP trains schedule.
From the Railway Station:

Commuter train (SKM) A commuter train, known as SKM (Fast City Train), runs constantly between Gdynia, Sopot and Gdansk from 5 am till midnight, stopping at a dozen intermediate stations. The trains run every 5 to 10 minutes (not so frequently in the evening) and the trip from Gdynia to Gdansk takes about 35-40 minutes. You can buy tickets at ticket offices in the stations or some newsstands and validate them in the yellow machines at the platform entrance. The fare depends on the distance.
